I am a data visualization developer with a background informed by deep experience in print, web and
broadcast journalism. A graduate of the Data Visualization MS program at Parsons School of Design, my
visualizations, writing and video work explore material from cultural geographies to content analytics and
brand interactions. I'm inspired by fresh possibilities for understanding our changing world afforded by the
explosion of data launched by the Web, and equally comfortable in technical and editorial roles. A onetime
Tokyo resident, my writing on Japan appeared in the Japan Times, New York Times,
Christian Science Monitor and Rolling Stone. My data visualizations can be seen on HealthCare.com and the East-West Center.
